Lori Yarvis, a business lawyer working with food companies among others, has co-founded a new food and beverage special interest group, the Food and Beverage Roundtable. At the intersection of business and food, Lori’s vision for the group is two-fold: to create an atmosphere where professionals in the food industry can come together to share ideas while hearing from thought leaders about the businesses behind this fascinating industry. To that end, Archstone hosted the organization’s first speakers program featuring Jeremy Halpern. Jeremy is a dynamic presenter and the leader of the Food and Beverage Group at the law firm Nutter. In his presentation, which was attended by 11 industry leaders, Jeremy spoke about his experiences and trends in the industry including with private equity, VC and angel transactions in the food and beverage space.  Archstone proudly co-sponsored the event with the accounting firm, Blum Shapiro.
